For the very first time in 10 years of run training, we've decided with Luc that I would train at goal pace (5k @ approx 17'30) instead of potential paces (following time trial tests).
So for the last 8 weeks I've been running my 200s, 400s, 800s, 1000s on the track at paces corresponding to an approx 17'30 time on 5k. Sometimes I succeeded (like last monday : 7 x 1000s @ 3'32-34, R 1min45) sometimes I collapsed.
So strategy for Lasalle is the following :
km 1 to 4 @ 3'30/km
km 5 : SURVIVE...
